At 1:00 Mountain time, Jose Parica will face Earl Strickland one the one-loss side in one of the more interesting matches of the tournament. Parica needs to stay alive to keep pace with Buddy Hall for the $50,000 Camel Points bonus while Strickland is attempting to seal thrid place on the points series. Strickland's relationship with the Filipino players and his demands for ideal playing conditions has been so well-documented that Parica asked tournament director Scott Smith that someone rack the balls for him to remove any controversy that may have arisen from the rack.
