The story line is the same, just the tables and the town change. Last month, Allison Fisher awaited the winner of the match between Gerda Hofstatter and Jeanette Lee to figure out her opponent in the title match of the Connelly Players Championship in Valley Forge, Pa. Fisher eventually beat Hofstatter for the title. The same scenario could unfold here in Boston.

As the Brunswick Cues Boston Classic, the third stop on the WPBA Classic Tour, winds up, Fisher once again has the pleasure of sitting through the formalities of deciding the winner of the loser's bracket, having beaten Gerda Hofstatter in the winner's side final last night at 9pm. This morning, as host room Boston Billiard Club prepares for the lights of ESPN, Hofstatter will face the winner of the Ewa Laurance/Jeanette Lee loser's match semifinal, which begins at 1pm EST.

Jeanette Lee looks to avenge her loss to Hofstatter by beating Ewa Laurance and Gerda to face Allison Fisher for the title.

If Lee wins, the top three players could repeat last month's results. Other than Fisher, Hofstatter has been one of the hottest players on the Tour, yet has not been able to get over the title hump yet in 1998.

The finals begin at 5pm EST. Look for a write-up on the finals at around 8pm EST
