Parica will await the winner of this afternoon's David Matlock/Cliff Joyner semifinal to determine his final opponent in the one-pocket division, which will conclude this evening.

In 9-ball competition, Rafael Martinez, Danny Harriman, Troy Frank, Tiffany Nelson and John Brumback advanced with wins on Thursday morning, with U.S. Open champ Cory Deuel and World Pool-Billiard Association 9-ball champion Mika Immonen slated for action this evening.

Earlier in the tournament, Larry Price captured the 9-ball banks tournament championship by beating Louis D'Marco in the final. Price earned $4,500 for the victory, while D'Marco took home $2,200 for second.
