CORR SWEEPS TOUR SEASON by Kirstin Pires Dec 10, 2001, 10:33 AM EST
 | Corr 6, Classic Tour 0 |
Karen Corr was so happy, she danced an Irish jig on the table where moments before, she had secured a clean sweep of the entire 2001 Classic Tour season.
Corr's grand slam came at the expense of Jeanette Lee, 7-5, in the final of the Cuetech Women's Professional Billiard Association National championship at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant, Mich.
In a tense match that went back and forth up till the end, Corr played her trademark defensive rock solid game.
After accepting the trophy and check, Corr shed her shoes and said, "Ewa [Laurance] said I could do this," as she hopped up on the Brunswick table and performed an Irish jig, trophy in hand.
