Top Players Battle at Valley Forge

The Gabriels Open Professional Players Championship began with a field of 64 on the Ides of March, March 15, at the Valley Forge Expo Center. The event is running alongside the Super Billiards Expo, produced by Allen Hopkins.

Several big names have already been relegated to the one-loss side in early rounds. Mosconi Cup Team USA member Mike Davis lost to Frankie Hernandez, 10-9. Davis was joined by Mika Immonen, who lost to Cory Deuel, 10-5, and Shawn Putnam, defeated by Cliff Joyner, 10-7.
