WPBA Aims at Rescheduling Odawa Casino Event in October

The WPBA event at the Odawa Casino in Petoskey, Mich., originally scheduled for March, looks close to being rescheduled for October.

Although the 2008 Classic Tour won't kick off until the San Diego Classic in April, the WPBA still hopes to hold eight events.

"We have a tentative date for October," said Anne Craig, the WPBA office administrator. "Basically, [the Odawa Casino] just had some personnel issues, which caused them to postpone us. But, we’re finalizing the contracts with them right now."

The Midwest Fall Classic will be the second event in October. The WPBA hopes to have the issue resolved by the end of January. The Pacific Coast Classic is set for Oct. 1-5.
