May 27, 2008, 11:26 AM

Park iced Immonen in the final, 9-5.
The Predator 9-Ball Tour celebrated the Memorial Day weekend with its sixth stop of the season, drawing 50 players to Master Billiards in Queens, N.Y., for a two-day tournament. Big names like Mika Immonen, Shaun Wilkie, Warren Kiamco and tour-founder Tony Robles headlined the $1,000-added tournament.

In the third round of play, Immonen faced Korean shooter Shin Park, who already owns one Predator title this year. In a the two traded racks, with Park advancing in a hill-hill thriller.

From that point, the two did their damage on opposite sides of the bracket. Trailing Robles, 5-2, Park came roaring back for a 9-6 victory. He then sent Frankie Hernandez to the left side in the hot-seat match.

Immonen rebounded from his loss to Park, rattling off six straight sets on the left side. On his way to the final, Immonen put Robles into fifth, Kiamco into fourth and Hernandez into third.

In the single-set final, Park capitalized on a few mistakes from Immonen. The Finn star couldn't keep up, and Park closed out the set, 9-5.
