WPBA Great Lakes Classic Starts Today

At 11 a.m. CST today, eight cue balls will smash into eight racks as the 2007 Great Lakes Classic gets underway at the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, Ind.

Allison Fisher is the defending champion at the Great Lakes Classic, but Ga-Young Kim had the honor of being the first champion of 2007 at the Carolina Classic last month. Another contender is the 25-year-old Shanghai native, Xiaoting Pan, who finished a strong second in North Carolina and is surely hungry for her first first-place finish.
