Every December, the BD staff begins crunching the numbers in an effort to assemble the Almanac & Awards section that fills up February’s issue. But this year, something special is accompanying the turning of the calendar from one year to the next. We are about to say bye-bye to a nameless decade (the “Aughts”? “Zeroes”? “Double Os”?), which means we’re on the hot seat to name our Player of the Decade.

Running through December, BD.com will host an online poll so pool fans can let their voices be heard on who should be named Player of the Decade. When we run our Player of the Decade feature in February, we’ll include the voting results alongside the two winners chosen by the Billiards Digest staff.
