Unsurprisingly, Filler doesn't take long to pass the eye test. His excellence can make the game look easy, clearing racks in rhythm and with plenty of tempo. But he also isn't shy about displaying his brilliance in a way that even a casual fan cannot question about his ability.

In the race-to-11 semifinal of the European Open Championship against Mario He, the German pocketed the 1 on the break, leaving him in the position shown in the diagram.

He had an angle on the 2 ball into the bottom right corner, but the 3 ball was buried in a cluster on the opposite side of the table. The cue ball was naturally going to float into the right long rail, which didn't offer much hope of freeing the 3 from its obstacles.

But instead of going three rails, Fuller loaded up on draw, bending the cue ball back toward him. It rolled into the top rail, ricocheted off the left long rail and into the 7, kicking it to the center of the table. It then nudged the 3 forward. As the cue ball rolled near the rail, it fell into place for a perfect angle to send the 3 into the opposite side pocket. An amazing shot, it also benefitted from a touch of luck on the straight angle.

Filler cleared the rack to take a 2-0 lead, but He wasn't quick to quit. The Austrian ralled to an 11-8 victory. (Speaking of numbers, He boasts a FargoRate of 813, good for the 42nd best number in the world.)
