Thirty’s a Crowd
WHY DO IT: Outside of a hanging 9 ball, combinations are not exactly the most desired shots in pool. But they often pop up as options to keep your run alive, so practice them.

HOW TO DO IT: Dump two full racks of balls on the table and distribute them evenly to avoid clusters. With ball in hand, begin pocketing balls using combinations. How many consecutive combos can you make? This drill might be a bit humbling, but it will make you more comfortable with the specter of a combination. [Mark Wilson]
