This practice game will improve your control of the cue ball (both direction and speed) when hitting object balls frozen to the rail.

With the balls frozen as shown and the pill bottle on the center spot, start with the cue ball behind the head string. Make the 1, get one point; make the 2, get two points; carom the cue ball off both object balls, get one point; carom the cue ball off an object ball and into the pill bottle, score five points. Play to 31 points, with pocketed balls re-spotted on the foot rail.
