Rodney Morris recommends this three-rail position shot as a way to let out your stroke, while also seeing how a table’s rails react.

Fire the 1 ball in the corner pocket and send the cue ball along the line. Try to stop the cue ball near the three ghost balls so you’ll get the speed of the table.
