Split the Pair
What’s more important than a straight stroke? Not much. Mark Wilson offers this test to give you a clue on your stroke’s line.

Place a ball in place of the ghost ball shown in the top diagram. With a finger’s width of space on either side, place the 1 and 2 balls perpendicular to the path of the cue ball. Now, try to hit the cue ball straight into the corner pocket. If you can hit the shot five times in a row, move the 1 and 2 balls closer together, so you increase the level of difficulty.
