Hiding Spots
Defense, defense, defense. Drill your ability to hide the cue ball.

Start with the 1 ball a diamond off both short and long rails. Taking cue ball in hand, hide the cue ball behind the 2, which is a half-ball off the long rail. When you master this shot, move both 1 and 2 balls a half-diamond back, then a full diamond, and so on. [Bob Jewett & Dave Alciatore]
