Six Pockets
Eddie Taylor used this exercise in his demonstrations because frozen-rail banks can be tricky.

Place the 8 ball against the long rail at the second diamond. Try to pocket it into each of the six pockets with as few strokes as possible, taking ball in hand after every attempt. If you struggle with the left corner pockets, start by banking the 8 into the side and near corner pockets only. Track your best score to measure your progress. [Bob Jewett]
